Our Story

Anchored Hope Home Care, LLC. was established in 2023 by Monica Young, our passionate owner and founder. After facing several challenges in finding quality in-home health care for her premature baby in 2018 and her grandmother in 2022, Monica recognized a significant need in the community and surrounding areas.

As a dedicated critical care nurse, Monica took on the responsibility of caring for her grandmother at home. This experience inspired her to pursue a new career in Home Health, aiming to deliver the highest standard of care to home health care clients of all ages. Anchored Hope Home Care is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that enhances the quality of life for our clients.

As the owner and Nursing Director of Anchored Hope Home Care, LLC. in Stevensville, MD, I bring a unique blend of entrepreneurial drive and seasoned expertise in nursing. With a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where patients feel supported and empowered to achieve optimal health.
 
Having worked as an experienced nurse in various healthcare settings, most recently caring for my grandmother,  I have gained insight into the diverse needs of individuals seeking home-based care. My hands-on experience has honed my skills in clinical assessment, care coordination, and patient advocacy, all of which form the foundation of my commitment to exceptional care delivery.
 

My vision for the home health agency is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual deserves personalized care that promotes wellness and independence. Through innovative healthcare solutions and a patient-centered approach, I am driven to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve in Queen Anne’s County and beyond.

I am excited to lead a team that shares my values and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, fostering a culture of empathy, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
